It's a Black Cat Kind of Halloween!

Our Very Black Cat:)

Our Annual Halloween Photo Shoot with Lacey aka Tinkerbell

Off and Running

Once again, Mia and Lacey hit the neighborhood running on Halloween night.  They are absolutely adorable together as they go door to door saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" in unison.  We ALL enjoyed the evening!

Already Missing Summer? Flashback!

We have had the absolute wettest fall!  We miss the warm, lazy days of playing in the sun - like this one . . . Mia and Grace having fun!

Our Soccer Star

Go, Mia, Go!

High Five from Mommy after scoring a goal!

Ms. Allison was kind enough to take these great pictures of Mia at soccer.  Allison's husband, Chris was our coach and it couldn't have been better - thanks Coach Chris!  By the way, Mia loves scoring those goals!

Halloween Parade and Party at Preschool

Today, I had great joy in watching Mia in the Halloween Parade at preschool.  I just love all this parent stuff!!!:)  Mia was just adorable as a "fairy, princess, ballerina"!  Wish Daddy could have been there.  We missed you Daddy!

A Little Halloween Spirit

She's ready to go ring doorbells.

She's ready to giggle:)

Mia's been out Ghosting the Cove.  It's been a tradition here as long as we've all lived on this special little street.  It's so fun to hear her ring the bell, run, and giggle, giggle, giggle:)

Our Georgia Tech Fan

Ready?

Let's Go!

Most of you know Tim is a graduate of GA Tech. We are fans even though we rarely get to see games here. We are rather proud of our team's winnings this year!  Mia is too!

It's Official, I'm a Soccer Mom!

The Soccer Stance

Ready to Go!

Mia and her friend Ayden from preschool

Scoring a goal!

Yes. It's official! I am now a soccer mom! Mia recently started soccer at preschool. So far, this has been a great introduction to getting used to manipulating the soccer ball and learning the soccer stance. She is also attending soccer at the local soccer association, which gives her a chance to actually play the game. The first day we went to local soccer, Mia was not quite sure how things were supposed to go. By the second day, she was stealing the ball and scored FOUR goals!!!!! We celebrated afterward by going to Chick Fil A. Mia kept dancing in the booth singing, "You go girl!":)

New Leotard for Ballet and Tap

Sometimes the back is as pretty as the front, Mommy!

Mia's leotard from last year was getting a bit snug (our long skinny girl!), so we went leotard shopping and agreed on this one.  Mia loves showing it off:)

Cinderella and Steven Curtis Chapman Song

Waiting patiently for Daddy, my prince.

I know many of you listen to Christian music as I do. We have a special place in our hearts for Steven Curtis Chapman and all he does for adoption. We love the song he plays about dancing with Cinderella when she is a little girl and how one day she'll be gone. Mia waited patiently for Tim to come home today and wanted to show him her Cinderella outfit. They began dancing and a whole flood of emotions ran through me as a realized how fast our little girl is growing up! We have been home from China almost THREE years! It hardly seems possible. It has positively been the best three years of our lives. Do I miss that sweet, sweet little baby the nanny placed in my arms three years ago? How could I when Mia has and always will be my sweet, sweet little baby girl?

Ballet and Tap Class with Ms. Maggie

All Ready to Go to Class!

Exercising and Getting Energy Before Class (that's what Mia says!)

All Ready to Dance!

Mia is taking a ballet and tap class at a local dance studio here and LOVES it!  Did I stress LOVE enough?  It is fun to watch her smile from the beginning of class until the very end!  Mia is very good at following directions and of course Mommy and Daddy think she is the Star Pupil:)

Fake Nails Anyone?

One of Mia's favorite toys is her Black and Decker toolbox.  This toolbox has everything anyone would ever want in a tool.  Of course being a girl, Mia has found a wonderful way to add fake nails using her tools.  She says Mia and Daddy can fix anything!
